#### What I Learned About Leadership from My Worst Product Failure
Early on my journey into product development, I was on fire! I had all the time in the world, a laptop, and a brain full of “brilliant” ideas. So, I did what any “visionary” would do—I started building tech products.
I launched three different products. Guess what? They all flopped. 🚶🏾♂️💨
Why? Because I was building for myself, not for the user. I thought, “This is so cool; people will love it!”—but I never actually talked to any real user. No research, no validation, just vibes and code.
That experience taught me one of the most painful but valuable leadership lessons: Building without truly understanding the user is like setting money on fire. 🔥
Now, before I even write a line of code, I:
✅ Talk to real users
✅ Validate the problem
✅ Build with the user, not in isolation
Lesson learned. The hard way. 😅
